The full title of this book is The Miracle of St. Anthony: A Season with Coach Bob Hurley and Basketball’s Most Improbable Dynasty.

For years now I’ve helped out with my son’s basketball teams, it’s one of my favourite things to do. We’ve been lucky to be surrounded with excellent programs and people.

Getting to learn more about the legendary coach through the course of a season really reminded me of why I think organized teams sports are so important. Having a good coach who holds you accountable can teach you life lessons that will serve you well even outside of basketball.

It was enjoyable to read about the season and seeing the genuine care Coach Hurley had for his players and the school.
